This course is perfect for anyone who is a complete beginner in water sports and wants to learn wing foiling. But even those with previous experience in surfing, windsurfing or kiting will get their money's worth here. You can read below how the course content differs for the latter.
Course for beginners in water sports
Before we go on the water we start with a Theoretical part about wind, the different courses, right of way rules, safety tips and material knowledge . Next, we will show you with the help of dry runs how to maneuver the wing correctly in all situations. In wing handling , we will cover the basic position, starting, steering movements and the 180° turn or jibe.
Equipped with a wetsuit, helmet and vest , you head out onto the water as soon as the thermals have built up. Everyone gets equipment that is individually tailored to their requirements. The boards are real foil boards directly mounted with a foil - this saves you the intermediate step of using displacement boards from many other schools. Everyone also gets a wing with a boom. This means you learn even faster than with other schools, which often use wings with handles or straps. We will now take you far upwind in the motorboat. This gives you enough time to learn the movements of getting on, starting and steering, as well as how to ride and turn the different courses . You are now ready to take off, as the foil is already mounted under your board. If this doesn't work out on the first day, you can always book an advanced course or practice what you have learned using our rental offer. We recommend that ambitious students book the premium beginner's course directly. This way, you can get a feel for foiling behind the boat on the second day of the course and put it into practice during the advanced course.

Advanced water sports enthusiasts
If you already have previous experience in windsurfing, kiting, surfing or sailing, you will progress faster. We will therefore provide you with targeted support and confront you with the next exercises and challenges more quickly than those in the course without previous experience.
Depending on your previous experience, this 5-hour course may be enough to get you on the foil and continue practicing on your own. If you still can't manage it, you can work on your skills to be able to ride the foil safely in an advanced course and additional training time. It is important that you use the right board and the right size of foil . Many people make the mistake of using equipment that is too small too early, which leads to a flatter learning curve. But don't worry, with us you are in good hands and you will always be using the right equipment for you.
