Course structure
The Premium course has been put together for those who want to learn wingfoiling as quickly as possible and don't want to go any unnecessary distances. The course is a combination of various other courses and units from our school, which can be completed over two (not necessarily consecutive) days. Specifically, it is made up of the following modules:
• Foilen hinter'm Boot (30min)
We recommend that guests take the beginners' course on the first day. On the second day of the course, you can then practise the feeling of floating behind the boat first. This will prepare you perfectly for perfecting foiling with the wing during the subsequent advanced course.
Another advantage of the Premium course is that different equipment can be tested. After the first day, most people are already fit for a slightly smaller board. And as we have an enormous amount of equipment in all possible sizes, you will soon be able to assess what equipment would be suitable for a purchase.
After all, the Premium course is worthwhile as you save CHF 50 compared to booking the individual modules.
Day 1: Wingfoil beginner course (5h)
Before we go out on the water, we start with a theoretical part about wind, the different courses, right of way rules, safety tips and equipment knowledge. Next, we use dry runs to show you how to manoeuvre the wing correctly in all situations. In wing handling, we cover the basic position, starting, steering movements and the 180° turn or jibe.
Equipped with a wetsuit, helmet and waistcoat, we head out onto the water as soon as the thermals have built up. Everyone is provided with equipment that is customised to their individual requirements. The boards are real foil boards mounted directly with a foil - so you save yourself the intermediate step with displacement boards from many other schools. In addition, everyone gets a wing with a boom. This means you learn even faster than at other schools, which often use wings with handles or loops. Now we take you far upwind with the motorboat. This will give you enough time to learn the movements of standing on the board, start riding and steering, as well as how to ride various courses and turn. Now you are ready to take off, as the foil is already mounted under your board. If flying on the foil doesn't work right away on the first day, you can book an advanced course at any time or practice what you have learnt with our rental offer. For ambitious students, we recommend booking the premium beginner course straight away. This allows you to internalise the feeling for the foil behind the boat on the second day of the course and put it into practice during the advanced course.

Day 2: Foil training behind the boat (1h) & Wingfoil advanced course (3h)
The second day is all about internalising the feeling of flying on the foil behind the boat. You will be towed behind the boat in pairs for an hour. This gives you enough time to get used to the feeling of "flying". As you are connected to the instructor on the boat via a headset, you receive feedback on your movements in real time despite the engine noise. This allows you to learn at maximum speed how to put weight on the board and which position is the right one so that you can then make the greatest possible progress when trying to fly with the wing.
After the foil training behind the boat, it's back on the water with the wingfoil material. In this advanced course, you will be taken far upwind with the boat again. With further tips from the instructor, you will make progress as quickly as possible when flying on the foil. Experience has shown that guests with previous experience in wind/water sports and people with good coordination skills make the most progress in this course: The skills learnt in the beginners' course are consolidated and the first attempts at flying lead to yelps of joy!
Frequently asked questions about this course format:
Question: Is it best to book the two days back-to-back?
Answer: That makes sense, yes. However, you can also build in a day or a week "buffer". This gives you the opportunity to review the first day in peace and quiet before you start again.
Aim of the Premium course
This course bundle is one of our best and most popular training programmes! The aim of the course is clearly defined: We prepare you to the point where you are ready to take off with the board. Thanks to the integrated foil training, you will also succeed. Whether you succeed with the wing depends on your ability to combine things. After this course, you will be ready to continue practising on your own. You will have spent two days with the wing and one day on the foil in specific foil training. It could hardly be better.
Course dates
This course can take place from Wednesday to Sunday. The dates can be checked and booked directly online using the booking system . The course will take place with a minimum of two people and you will be informed the day before whether the course can take place. If the weather is good but you are alone, you can convert the course into a private lesson for an additional charge of CHF 50.
